White River School District
includes the City of Buckley, the Towns of Wilkeson and South Prairie and a portion of the City of  Bonney Lake. It currently has an enrollment of more than 4,400 students and employs about 550 in five elementary schools, two middle schools, one high school and one alternative high school.

Rainier School

Rainier School was established in 1937 by the Washington State Legislature.  It was first occupied on October 19, 1939. Located 2 miles east of the City of  Buckley, the facility's service area is Western Washington.  Covering 500 acres including 80 acres of campus and parks.

Friends of Rainier is a non profit group of families, guardians, and friends of Rainier School who support and encourage the use of the services at Rainier School for all the severely handicapped DD people that need them.
